Ulka, a division of BBDO Group India, has named Maithili Mullick Executive Creative Director. She will report to Rakesh Menon, Ulka’s Chief Creative Experience Officer.
Mullick worked at FCB Interface for more than a decade, starting as an intern and eventually rising to the position of group creative director. She then worked for ANZ Bank’s in-house agency in Australia.
Her experience includes working for brands such as Beiersdorf, Mondelez, Unilever, Mahindra, Skechers, and Xiaomi, as well as agencies. Her campaigns include ‘Ladki Haath Se Nikal Jayegi’ for Mahindra and Nanhi Kali, and ‘TR for Teacher’ for Navneet Education.
Maithili Mullick spoke about her new work, saying, “I already knew quite a few people at Ulka and had seen firsthand how good they are, so the decision to join was an easy one. But what truly intrigued me was Ulka’s passion for where she wants to go. There’s a strong desire to construct something bigger and more intriguing. I’m extremely excited to be a part of that journey and help get it there.”
Regarding Mullick’s appointment, Rakesh Menon stated, “Maithili brings a rare combination of clear strategic thinking and the creative instinct to turn that thinking into compelling work. Having worked with her for many years, I’ve also seen how naturally she brings out the best in people. That combination makes her an invaluable addition to the Ulka we’re building.”
