Mukherjee’s new position will be to head creative operations in Asia-Pacific for FleishmanHillard, Golin, Ketchum, and Weber Shandwick.
Mukherjee announced the shift, writing, “New position, same obsession: make work that matters.
Head of Creative, Asia Pacific at Omnicom Public Relations, overseeing creative for FleishmanHillard, Golin Ketchum, and Weber Shandwick in the area.
I’ve spent my career developing competitor brands. It’s ironic, then, to wind up with the largest agency by some distance!
At GOLIN, we have continually been the most recognized #PR agency in APAC. The scoreboard has grown, the stakes have risen, and the aim has remained unchanged: be the best in class, drive excellence via design, and influence culture.”
Prior to his current post, Mukherjee was executive vice president of global creative innovation and chief creative officer for Asia Pacific at Golin Ketchum, where he was responsible for delivering creative solutions and innovation for clients.
Earlier, he held several leadership positions at Golin, including chief creative officer for Asia Pacific, executive creative director and creative director, leading integrated communications and award-winning campaigns for global and regional brands.
He also worked in communications and public relations with Rice Communications, Zzebra PR, and Hanmer MS&L, starting as a copywriter and progressing to project management and client leadership.
