FanCode will stream all matches of the sixth season of the Lanka Premier League in India, which will take place from July 17 to August 8, 2026.
The sixth edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) will be streamed live in India via FanCode, according to a new digital streaming arrangement established ahead of the competition.
The tournament, which will take place from July 17 to August 8, 2026, will air all of its matches on FanCode’s platform for Indian fans. Sri Lanka Cricket organises the league, and Innovative Production Group FZ, LLC (IPG) owns the commercial and event rights.
The news comes as the LPL seeks to improve its position in the Indian market. According to the league, audience consumption increased by 65% over the previous season, and the new alliance aims to broaden its digital reach and accessibility among regional cricket viewers.

The 2026 edition will have five franchises: Colombo Kaps, Dambulla Sixers, Galle Gallants, Kandy Royals, and the defending champions, SC Jaffna Kings. The competition will include 62 Sri Lankan players and 32 foreign cricketers.
International players announced for the season include Moeen Ali, Jimmy Neesham, Shakib Al Hasan, Taskin Ahmed, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Angelo Mathews. Indian all-rounder Vijay Shankar is also poised to make his LPL debut with the Kandy Royals.
The event will be held in a double round-robin style, finishing in the playoffs. According to the organisers, 21 nations registered for the 2026 player draft, indicating that worldwide interest in the game remains strong.
