Canva has launched Canva Code 2.0 for all users, which expands its AI-powered coding tool with new capabilities that allow users to create applications, websites, games, and other interactive experiences using plain-language instructions.

The update includes new options to start projects, such as prompts, templates, and HTML imports, as well as editing features that allow users to customize AI-generated experiences within the Canva editor.

According to the firm, customers may now develop Canva Code projects within existing designs, such as presentations, whiteboards, and other design files. The update now features over 50 interactive design templates that can be customized with Canva’s media library or supplied images.

It has also included HTML import, which allows users to transfer projects made elsewhere, including those generated by other AI helpers, into Canva as editable drawings.

Canva Code 2.0 integrates AI-powered code with Canva’s existing design capabilities, allowing users to change the colors, fonts, text, and pictures without leaving the platform. Users may make adjustments manually or utilize Canva AI with conversational suggestions. Interactive experiences may also be published directly through the platform.

Users may alter projects in the Canva editor by swapping photos, updating colors and fonts, modifying text directly, or enhancing particular aspects using AI suggestions, all without the need for additional design or development tools.
