Google has introduced new measurement capabilities that will assist marketers in evaluating campaign effectiveness and business impact by combining first-party data, various signals, and causal measurement.
The improvements include new Data Manager connectors, additions to Google Analytics (GA) and Display & Video 360 (DV360), as well as additional Meridian capabilities.
The upgrades are meant to enhance advertisers’ data foundations and enable them to monitor both short- and long-term impacts.
Data Manager will be integrated directly into Google Analytics and Display & Video 360, allowing marketers to manage and activate first-party data across both platforms. Advertisers that link offline and app data to Data Manager get an average 26% improvement in additional ROAS.

The firm is also implementing better conversions in GA and DV360 to securely match consumer data and boost ad relevancy. Advertisers that use enhanced conversions receive an average 11% boost in search conversions compared to basic conversion imports.
The Data Manager API is now accessible worldwide and is based on the IAB Tech Lab’s Event and Conversions API standard. The API offers a uniform approach to connecting, managing, and activating audiences and measuring performance across key ad platforms.
New diagnostics in Data Manager may also detect and resolve data errors before they impair campaign performance.
Google Ads will now include a Data Strength Uplift Metric, which evaluates incremental conversions recovered from an advertiser’s first-party data configuration. Advertisers utilizing Google Tag Gateway saw an average 14% conversion increase, with Demand Gen campaigns seeing an increase of more than 20%.
Meridian, the company’s open-source Marketing Mix Model, has also been enhanced with additional agentic features that will aid in data quality auditing, error resolution, and model creation. According to the organization, backend improvements will also speed up and improve the efficiency of analyzes.

Advertisers can now use brand signals like Branded Google Query Volume to quantify the effect of brand-building activities and determine how upper-funnel video and TV ads contribute to future sales.
Meridian GeoX is now accessible internationally as well. The open-source application enables advertisers to conduct causal geo-experiments across several advertising platforms and incorporate incrementality data into marketing mix models.
