Hearts & Science from Omnicom and Mediahub, which was originally a part of IPG, account for around $9 billion in billings in 2025. Media, data, technology, and commerce skills will all be combined under the reorganization.
Omnicom is combining its Mediahub and Hearts & Science media agency brands into a single worldwide network as part of its integration plan following the acquisition of Interpublic Group (IPG), according to media reports.
The united entity’s name will be unveiled next month, with its leadership structure likely in August, according to Florian Adamski, CEO of Omnicom Media.
Adamski stated that the corporation expected to launch the new agency next month after finalizing its name and brand identity. However, when market speculation increased, the corporation decided to notify staff earlier.
According to industry sources, the two agencies in Australia will continue to operate independently, with no modifications made to their local operations.
Mediahub was part of IPG, whereas Hearts & Science was an Omnicom agency. The agencies’ combined billings in 2025 amount to around $9 billion.
The restructure aims to streamline the company’s media operations by combining strategy, data, technology, and commerce capabilities. It is part of a bigger restructure following the Omnicom-IPG merger, which includes media, creative, commerce, public relations, and precision marketing.
Adamski stated that the merger will result in a worldwide network functioning in 40 markets, rather than just combining two agencies.
The decision was made after considering Omnicom’s agency brands’ strengths, cultures, and client demands. The analysis concluded that Hearts & Science and Mediahub may be joined to form a broader network with complementary strengths and geographic reach, he stated.
The consolidation occurs as global advertising holding corporations strive to decrease redundancy and enhance operational efficiency, while advertisers increasingly demand integrated media, data, and technology solutions.
Hearts & Science was founded in 2016 and is focused on data-driven marketing, audience intelligence, analytics, precision planning, and linked solutions. Mediahub, formed in 2005, has developed its company on challenger thinking, cultural creativity, and collaboration with businesses experiencing upheaval.
