Keerthi Kumar. R has been named Head of Business at digital and influencer marketing company Wirality. He has experience in account management, integrated and digital disciplines.
Kumar. R revealed the move in a LinkedIn post when he talked about his vision for the company and thought back on his career at many advertising and marketing companies.
Kumar R was Business Head at SW Network (Sociovash) before he started work at Wirality. FoxyMoron, Dentsu Webchutney, and HealthCare Global are among the companies he has also headed.
Over his career, he has held positions including account management, business development, digital strategy, and client leadership, in which he has overseen companies in industries including consumer goods, retail, healthcare, media, and technology.
In Kumar’s piece. Citing his past at Dentsu Webchutney, Zoo Media, and Leo Burnett, he said they helped to define his opinions on the direction of agencies.
Kumar in the post announcing the move. R wrote, “I have seen the Indian advertising sector develop over fifteen years. At Webchutney I experienced what happens when technology and culture meet just at the correct moment. Inside Zoo Media I helped to define what real integration really looks like when it runs. At Leo Burnett I saw what a totally adapted company looks like when the ideas never stop.”
He said, “Every one of those sites taught me something.” And the most obvious lesson they taught me is this: the winners of tomorrow are not the biggest companies. They are the most deliberate ones.
Kumar.R claimed businesses are looking more and more for more responsible and leaner agency relationships.
“The world is heading toward leaner, faster, more responsible relationships. Companies seek impact they can highlight, not scope they have to handle. There is nothing unusual about the fractional CMO. “It shows where things are going,” he said.
Kumar.R said of his new position, Wirality is building for just that universe. Small but admirable. Effective but always large in thought. An organization that brings current methods of work and culture together to produce concepts you can measure and influence people. Not dependent on team size but rather on work quality.
That’s the company I’m going to assist construct. Alongside a founder in Saanand Warrier, and a COO Karan Verma who saw this coming and a creative leader in Sourya Bhattacharjee who knows how to make ideas land, he said.
